Essential Round Mosquito Net — King & Queen
Our most affordable round mosquito net, and the simplest net we sell to put up: one hook in the ceiling and it is done. A 50cm sprung steel hoop holds a full 10 metres of sheer white polyester in a wide circle 280cm high, so the netting falls generously around a King or Queen bed and past the frame.
It weighs 500 grams, the hoop folds down on itself, and the whole net packs into the travel bag included with it. That makes it the net to choose if you want insect protection without drilling into anything permanent, or if you want a full-size bed net you can actually carry.

Our nets are made larger than the mattress on purpose, so the netting covers the mattress and the bed frame and can be sealed underneath for complete insect protection.
Installation
One point to the ceiling. Use a toggle hook for a plaster ceiling and a cup hook for a wooden ceiling. The sprung hoop is built into the net, so no frame is required.

Fabric and Colour
Sheer white multi-filament polyester with 360 holes per square inch. Available in white only. The netting carries no insecticide, repellent or chemical treatment of any kind.
Care
Cold machine wash on a delicate cycle, or dry clean. Do not tumble dry. Polyester does not shrink.

What size bed does the Essential Round mosquito net fit?
It is one net that covers both King and Queen beds. The hem has a 10 metre circumference, which is wide enough to fall around the mattress and the bed frame on either size, with more overlap to tuck in on a Queen.
How does a round mosquito net hang?
From a single point in the ceiling. There is a built-in sprung hoop that holds the net open in a circle, and one elasticised loop at the top that goes over a hook. Nothing else is required. We recommend a toggle hook for a plaster ceiling and a cup hook for a wooden ceiling.
Do I need to buy a frame for it?
No. The hoop is sewn into the net, so the net holds its own shape. This is the difference between our round nets and our box nets — a box net needs four to six hanging points or a four-poster frame, and a round net needs one hook.
How is this different from your Classic round polyester net?
The Classic round net for King and Queen beds has a 100cm hoop and two entrances, which gives a much roomier interior and makes it easier to get in and out of a bed placed against a wall. The Essential round net has a smaller 50cm hoop and one opening, and is lighter and cheaper. Both are 280cm high and both use the same 360 holes per square inch polyester netting.
How many openings does it have?
One, with a generous overlap so it closes behind you. If you want two entrances, our Classic round polyester net for King and Queen beds is the one to choose.
How small does it pack down?
The hoop is a sprung steel loop that folds down on itself into a much smaller circle, and the whole net then goes into the travel bag supplied with it. It weighs 500 grams in total.
Is the netting treated with insecticide?
No. This net is chemical-free. There is no permethrin, insecticide or repellent finish on the netting. It protects you as a physical barrier, which means it is safe to sleep under every night and safe around children and pets.
What is the netting made from?
Soft, sheer polyester with 360 holes per square inch. It is fine enough to keep mosquitoes out while remaining see-through, so it does not make the bed feel closed in or dark.
How do I wash it?
Cold machine wash on a delicate cycle, or dry clean. Do not tumble dry. Polyester will not shrink, so the net keeps its shape and size.
What colour is it?
White only. We do not dye our polyester netting, so white is the only colour available in this net.

Mosquito net
Very happy with our mozzie nets. They arrived, well packed, in a very short time. They have been easy to set up and do the job - and look good. Our old house has 12 foot ceilings, and I worried the nets might not be long enough. But with a piece of cord between hook and net they fit the bed well.

Highly recommend
Nice quality, popped right out of the bag with no setup. Sturdy material that isn’t susceptible to rips and tears like others we have had. Great size, falls to the ground on all sides of the bed. Very satisfied with our purchase.

As advertised
Does the job but considering the price it could have at least included one hook and some string or rope to hang it. Those extras aren't so costly so as to leave them out of the whole thing! Thanks for your review Billie. We don't provide hooks as it depends what type of ceiling the net is to be suspended from to what type of hook is needed. For a plaster ceiling we recommend a toggle hook. For a wooden ceiling we recommend a screw in hook. And for times where the location is not permanent then a good quality stick on hook may suffice with this net.

Great mosquito net
I would highly recommend this mosquito net for protection from mozzies in your bedroom. It covers my entire double bed right to the floor so would be helpful for even bigger beds. Easy to open and close with very good protection as well as very attractive in the bedroom.

Budget Mosquito Net
I'm very happy with my mosquito net. I now go to bed relaxed, not worried about being bitten or woken by a mozzie in my ear in the middle of the night; I've got my little cosy cocoon as protection. There's heaps of fabric, so plenty of coverage for the whole bed. Oh, and it actually looks really nice! Gives the room a pretty, dreamy feel. Thankyou :)

Comes in a handy storage back. Easy to assemble and disassemble. I can’t position the net centrally due to the overhead fan. Net could be a bit longer to allow for this.

Round budget mosquito net
Delivered very quickly, especially considering the high volume of online sales. Lightweight and allows good airflow, good lap of material for closure and good length to make sure it stays down the sides of the bed. Good value for money.
