Round mosquito nets — fast protection, single hook

A round mosquito net hangs from a single ceiling point and drapes down to create a soft, romantic princess-canopy effect over the bed. It's the simplest net in our range to install — just one hook in the ceiling, and a length of cord or string from the hook to the fabric loop at the top of the canopy.

Classic and Temple designs

Our round range includes two designs. The Classic is the true single-point round canopy, with one entrance and a roomy circular interior. The Temple blends the box and round styles — three openings and a fold-away frame — and fits almost any bed, from cots to kings. Both hang from a single ceiling point and come supplied with a frame.

Protection without the fuss

When correctly sized, hung and sealed so the netting falls closed with no gaps, a round or Temple net protects just as effectively as our box shape — the difference is presentation and installation, not protection. It's the choice for a bedroom where you want a soft, romantic look and the simplest possible setup.

How does a round mosquito net hang, and what do I need to install it?

A round net hangs from a single ceiling point. You'll need one hook fixed into the ceiling above the centre of the bed, then a length of cord, line or string running from that hook down to the fabric loop at the top of the canopy. The supplied frame — usually a flexible fibreglass hoop — holds the netting open in its circular shape. It's the quickest net in our range to put up and take down.

What's the difference between the Classic round net and the Temple net?

The Classic is a true single-point round canopy with one entrance and a roomy circular interior — the softest, most romantic look in our range. The Temple blends the box and round styles: it has three openings rather than one, and a fold-away modular frame that lets it fit over almost any bed, from cots right up to kings, making it the most versatile single design we make.

What fabrics do round mosquito nets come in?

Cotton and polyester, in both the Classic and Temple designs, and we also make a Classic round canopy in silk for our luxury range. Cotton gives you a natural fabric with real presence; polyester is lighter, sheerer and more affordable. Whichever fabric, the round shape and single-hook installation stay the same.

What sizes do round mosquito nets cover?

Our multi-size Classic designs mean one net covers Queen, King and daybeds, and another covers Single and Double, so there's no need to match an exact bed size the way you would with a box net. The Temple is even more flexible, fitting Single through King as well as daybeds and cots, all from the one design.

Is a round mosquito net as protective as a box net?

Yes. Shape doesn't determine protection — the fabric, mesh and how well the net is sized, hung and sealed do. A correctly hung round or Temple net, closed with no gaps, keeps insects out just as effectively as a box net; the shape is a matter of style and how you'd like the net to install and present, not a trade-off in protection.

How much space does a round net cover once it's hanging?

A round net is designed with a generous circular drop, so once it's hung it comfortably clears the sides of the bed rather than sitting close against it — that clearance is part of what lets it seal properly. Our multi-size designs are made oversize on purpose, so even at the larger end of their size range (Queen through to King, for example) there's still plenty of room inside.

Is a round mosquito net a good choice for a child's room?

Yes — it's a popular choice for kids' and nurseries' rooms, largely because of how it looks. The soft, draped, single-point canopy creates a cosy, tent-like feel that children often love, and because it only needs one ceiling hook it's an easy retrofit into an existing room without extra hardware.

Can a round mosquito net be taken down and packed away easily?

Yes. Round nets fold flat using a simple figure-of-eight technique on the spring or fibreglass hoop, which is the quickest folding method of any shape we make — quicker than a box net, which has to be unpinned or untied panel by panel rather than folded as one piece.
