Queen dimensions

Our Queen box nets measure 170cm x 220cm, made oversize on purpose so the canopy comfortably clears the mattress edges and drapes to the floor with no gaps. Our Queen round nets use a multi-size design — the same net that covers Queen also covers King and daybeds — and our polyester Temple design covers Single right through to Queen and King in the one net.

Choose your shape and fabric

Queen is available in box, round and Temple shapes, and in cotton, polyester and silk. Cotton gives you a natural fabric with real presence over the bed; polyester is lighter, sheerer and more affordable; silk is our decorative showpiece, dual-purpose when properly sized and sealed. Whichever you choose, when correctly hung and sealed with the netting closed to the floor, it provides complete protection from mosquitoes and other insects.

What are the exact dimensions of a Queen mosquito net?

Our Queen box nets measure 170cm x 220cm. They're made deliberately oversize, so once hung the netting comfortably clears the mattress on every side and drapes right down to the floor — that clearance is what lets the net seal properly rather than sitting tight against the bed.

Which shapes and fabrics are available in Queen size?

All of them. Queen comes in box, round and Temple shapes, and in cotton, polyester and silk fabrics. That gives you a full range of combinations, from a natural-cotton four-poster box canopy through to a soft, single-hook polyester round net, right up to our silk box canopy for a luxury statement.

Does a Queen mosquito net also fit a Double bed?

Not our box design — a Queen box net is sized specifically for a Queen mattress, and using it on a smaller Double bed would leave excess fabric pooling rather than draping neatly. If you have a Double bed, our Double size is the right fit. Our round and Temple designs are more flexible: the Single/Double round net is a separate size from Queen/King, so check which multi-size pairing matches your bed before ordering.

Will a King round net work if I only have a Queen bed?

Yes. Our King round nets use a multi-size design that comfortably covers King, Queen and daybeds in the one net, so a bed listed as "King" round is exactly what you want for a Queen bed too — there's no separate Queen-only round SKU, and you don't lose anything by the net also being rated for King.

Is there a difference between a Queen bed and a Queen canopy bed for sizing?

No — sizing is based on the mattress, not on whether the bed itself has a canopy frame built in. If you have a dedicated Queen canopy bed (a bed frame with its own posts or canopy structure), measure the top of that frame rather than the mattress if you're planning to tie the net to the frame; if you're hanging from the ceiling instead, mattress size is what matters.

What frame or hanging options come with a Queen mosquito net?

It depends on the shape. Queen box nets can be tied or pinned to an existing four-poster frame, hung from four to six ceiling hooks, or fitted with a hidden curtain-rod frame that slides into a sleeve in the canopy ceiling. Queen round and Temple nets are supplied with their own frame and need only a single hook in the ceiling.

How much overhead space does a Queen canopy need?

For a box net hung from the ceiling, allow enough height for the 170cm x 220cm canopy to hang with the sides draping fully to the floor — a standard 2.4m ceiling is generally plenty. For a Queen four-poster frame, the canopy simply attaches to the existing frame height, so there's no extra ceiling clearance to plan for.

Which Queen mosquito net gives the best value for everyday use?

For everyday, year-round use, our Queen cotton box net is the best all-rounder — it's our most popular product, with real natural-fabric presence, a lifespan of around ten years with proper care, and full four-poster canopy styling. If budget is the priority, our polyester round nets in Queen give the same level of protection at a lower price point, with the simplest possible single-hook installation.
