Single is our size for kids' beds, bunk beds, guest rooms and single-traveller setups. It's available in every shape we make, so whether you want a structured four-poster look or a soft, single-hook canopy, there's a Single option built for it.

Single dimensions — and King Single beds

Our Single box nets measure 110cm x 210cm, made oversize on purpose so the canopy comfortably clears the mattress edges and drapes to the floor with no gaps. Our Single size also comfortably covers King Single beds — there's no separate King Single listing, so if you have a King Single, this is the size to choose. Our multi-size round design covers Single and Double in the one net, and our polyester Temple design covers Single right through to King in the one net. In the US, this mattress size is often called "Twin" — if you've seen that term, it's the same size as our Single.

Choose your shape and fabric

Single is available in box, round and Temple shapes, in cotton or polyester. Cotton gives you a natural fabric with real presence over the bed; polyester is lighter, sheerer and more affordable, and often the practical choice for kids' rooms. Whichever you choose, when correctly hung and sealed with the netting closed to the floor, it provides complete protection from mosquitoes and other insects.

What are the exact dimensions of a Single mosquito net?

Our Single box nets measure 110cm x 210cm. They're made deliberately oversize, so once hung the netting comfortably clears the mattress on every side and drapes right down to the floor — that clearance is what lets the net seal properly rather than sitting tight against the bed.

Does a Single mosquito net fit a King Single bed?

Yes. Our Single size comfortably covers King Single beds as well as standard Single beds — we don't make a separate King Single listing, because the Single net is generous enough to fit both. If you have a King Single bed, this Single size is exactly what you should order.

Is "Single" the same as a "Twin" size bed?

Yes. Single and Twin refer to the same mattress size — Single is the Australian term, Twin is the US term you'll sometimes see used interchangeably in searches and product reviews. If you've measured your bed as a US Twin, our Single size is the correct match.

Which shapes and fabrics are available in Single size?

Single comes in box, round and Temple shapes, in cotton and polyester. Cotton gives you a natural fabric with real presence and a lifespan of around ten years; polyester is lighter, sheerer, more affordable, and often the practical pick for a child's room. We don't currently make a Single-size silk canopy — our silk range is limited to Queen and King.

Does a Single round net also fit a Double bed?

Yes — our round nets use a multi-size design, and the same net that covers Single also covers Double. There's no need to choose a different size depending on which of the two you have; it's one product either way.

Is a Single mosquito net a good choice for a child's bed or bunk bed?

Yes — it's one of the most common uses for our Single size. A polyester round or Temple net is a popular pick for kids' rooms since it's light, sheer and simple to install with just one ceiling hook, and for bunk beds a round net is usually the easiest shape to fit around the top bunk without a frame getting in the way.

What frame or hanging options come with a Single mosquito net?

It depends on the shape. Single box nets can be hung from four to six ceiling hooks, or fitted with a hidden curtain-rod frame that slides into a sleeve in the canopy ceiling — they're less commonly tied to a four-poster frame simply because Single four-poster beds are less common. Single round and Temple nets are supplied with their own frame and need only a single hook in the ceiling.

How much overhead space does a Single canopy need?

For a box net hung from the ceiling, allow enough height for the 110cm x 210cm canopy to hang with the sides draping fully to the floor — a standard 2.4m ceiling is generally plenty, and this is usually the easiest size to fit into a smaller bedroom or a bunk-bed setup.
