Mosquito Net Hanging Kit — 4 Point
Everything needed to suspend a box-shaped mosquito net or bed canopy from four points in the ceiling: hooks for whichever ceiling you have, plugs to hold them, and twenty metres of heavy-duty nylon line that all but disappears once the net is up.
Our box nets are supplied without ceiling hardware, because the correct fixing depends on whether you are going into timber, plaster or concrete. This kit covers all three, so you can open the box and put the net up the same day.

Which mosquito nets is the four-point kit for?
All our box-shaped nets and bed canopies, in cotton, deluxe polyester and silk. If your net is round, Classic or Temple it hangs from a single point and needs the one-point kit instead.
What is in the kit?
Four cup hooks for timber or concrete ceilings, four powder-coated spring toggle hooks for plaster ceilings, four wall plugs for concrete, twenty metres of heavy-duty nylon line, and instructions. Both hook types are included, so you are covered whatever your ceiling turns out to be.
Where do the four hooks go?
Above the four corners of your bed. You can also set the fixing points slightly wider than the corners, angling the lines outwards, which increases the tension across the ceiling of the canopy and stretches the fabric into a crisper, flatter shape.
Which hook should I use for my ceiling?
Cup hooks go into timber, or into a wall plug set in concrete. Spring toggle hooks are for plaster and plasterboard — the toggle springs open behind the sheet and spreads the weight across a wide area instead of concentrating it on one weak point.
How much line is included?
Twenty metres, which is five metres per corner. That is enough to hang a net from a high ceiling and still have line spare for adjusting the height.
Do your box nets already include hooks?
Our Deluxe box nets in cotton, polyester and silk are supplied without ceiling hardware, so you will need this kit. Our Essential box net does include four basic hooks and line for a timber ceiling — but if that net is going onto a plaster ceiling you will still want this kit for the spring toggle hooks.
Why do you not recommend adhesive hooks?
They fail. Adhesive loses its grip, and a box net pulling down on four corners puts far more strain on each fixing than people expect. Plastic plugs in plaster fail the same way and take a chunk of ceiling with them when they go.
Can I use cord or chain instead of the nylon line?
Yes. The nylon line is supplied because it is close to invisible and lets the canopy look as though it is floating. Cord, rope or chain are perfectly strong alternatives and can look striking as a deliberate decorative choice.
Could I use a frame instead of hanging from four points?
A frame and a hanging kit do different jobs. Our metal frame gives the canopy its square shape and hides inside the ceiling sleeve of a Deluxe net — but the frame itself still has to be suspended from four ceiling points, so you need this kit as well as the frame, not instead of it.
Will four hooks damage my plaster ceiling?
Each toggle hook needs one hole, and the toggle is specifically designed to spread the load in plasterboard rather than tear out of it. Used as instructed they hold securely and leave nothing worse than four screw holes if you ever take the net down.
