    Everything I'd hoped for

Posted by Mia on 1st Apr 2019

The Equip freestanding mosquito net (untreated) is everything I had hoped for. Having researched at length, this one seemed like a better bet than any of the cheapies. I put it up on the balcony as an escape plan during the Sydney heat wave. They weren't kidding when they said it self-erects in three seconds! It went "foop", and there it was. The first evening I lay down in it, just to test what it was like, next thing I knew it was 3.30am and I was feeling very happy, it was lovely to be in the fresh air.

As previous reviews had prepared me for, it took me 40 minutes to pack it up the first time, needed to look at the YouTube clip several times before twigging to the asymmetrical folding. Confident now.

Frank was extremely helpful, as there was a major problem with the delivery, caused by staff at a local post office (Cremorne).

I recommend The Australian Mosquito Net Shop and this product wholeheartedly!

    mosquito net

Posted by Michelle Leaney on 28th Jul 2017

Really liked this mosquito net. Perfect for my needs. Only downside is its quite tricky to pack away. Needed to look at the youtube each time as the provided instructions didn't help a lot. Once you have the hang of its great. Also have to be careful with the zippers as snags in the neeting area easy to happen. So far only a little run, and no hole

    Great!

Posted by Unknown on 17th Mar 2016

Before I purchased this net I was getting bitten by what seemed like hundreds of mozzies each night- now I can sleep peacefully. It was easy to pop up and I can take it anywhere I go.

    Thanks!

    so very convienient!

Posted by chris on 17th Sep 2015

This is a great net and a works on a good principle. The pack up was quite the disaster ( trying to follow the instructions included in pack). I had to leave it behind the first time I used it - then later when I returned found that no one had stolen it because no one else could pack it up!!!
Eventually I figured it out and now can travel with it.

Impressive design - better zips and instructions would be good

Posted by Matt A on 29th Jul 2015

The concept is great and the materials are generally good except the zips are too lightweight, I think - a higher quality zip that travels more smoothly would make a big difference. I found the written instructions pretty hard to follow. But overall a great product.

Awesome until you have to pack it up

    Posted by B on 19th Mar 2014

This product is great. However, make sure you follow the sites recommendation and practice re-packing it a few times before you use it; the accompanying instructions are useless so make sure you view the you-tube footage. I didn't, had to move in a hurry and ended up having to leave it behind. Lesson learned there.

    Great Buy, Value for Money

Posted by Lynna Tan on 7th Mar 2014

I think this is a great buy for me and it is worth spending the money on it. My kids, who are prone to have allergic reactions when bitten by mosquito (even a single bite) can now sleep without distrubances and I in turn have peace of mind and a good night sleep.

I would have given it a rating of 5 stars should the instructions for folding can be further improved as I find it hard to fold it even after watching the instructions on youtube numerous times.
